Hearts of Hope is one of the golf tourney's top charities for the event. Please join us along with Family Tree as we tee off for our PENNIES FOR BIRDIES charity. You can donate a penny, a dime, a quarter or even a dollar for each of the birdies made by the professional golfers participating in the event. The proceeds benefit Hearts of Hope and Family Tree. A non-profit 2 for 1 deal you just can't miss!

2. WALK A MILE IN HER SHOES

SATURDAY, April 17, 2010

This is one of our favorite events, and it is definitely our most unique one!

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes is a Men's March Against Rape. Several men from our community set a goal to raise $1,000 by asking for pledges from friends and family. These men are asked to walk a mile in high heels! That is right! High Heels!

This is a family event and women and children are invited to participate for a small donation of $10, but, are allowed to wear tennis shoes, unlike our men who choose to walk.

Trophies are given out for "Best Strut", "Best Legs", "The Clutz" and "Best Shoe" awards.

This fundraiser takes place to support our Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program.

Different levels of sponsorships are available, ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.

3. 26th Annual ACADIANA CULINARY CLASSIC presented by Iberia Bank
MONDAY, May 17, 2010
A food lover/critic’s dream. Prepare to savor the most spectacular flavors, sip the finest of wines and enjoy the company of the 800 other culinary enthusiasts. The event is the ultimate competition in the entire Gulf South with more chef competitors, more food/beverage categories and above all a night you will never forget. This event will be held at the Cajundome Convention Center. Expectations are high regarding the success of this event that will benefit Hearts of Hope.
Tickets are $100 each and tables of 10 are available for $1,000.

4. DON WALLACE & BRIAN MITCHELL CELEBRITY GOLF TEE OFF PARTY
Date tentatively set for July 2010, TBA.
This event is a great "meet and greet" social with pro-athletes such as: Kevin Faulk, Joe Ward, Bugga McFarland, Johnny Hector, Eric Martin, Keenan McCardell, Dalton Hilliard, Vencie Glenn, Corey Raymond and others. A great time is always had by all, and everyone is looking forward to the next event!

5. RUNWAY ON THE RUNWAY

Date tentatively set for October 2010, TBA.
If you are into high end fashion, then this is the event for you! The event is actually held in an airport hanger, which makes it the most unique fashion event in town! Our 2009 event included clothing by F. Camalo Menswear, Hemline and Head to Toe Boutique, and jewelry by Silpada Jewelry Designs. This is event is a great way for one to showcase their cutting edge fashion apparel and accessories in an unbelievable setting. Sponsorships are available, so contact our Development Director today!

Ticket prices range from $50 - $350 and sponsorships range from $2,500 to $10,000.
